Artist Statement: I try to offer the spectator a sense of familiarity when experiencing my work. When approaching a piece of art, the first things I consider are process and perspective, juxtaposed to the mediums tradition, meaning "How can I do this differently?".
Using linen, cotton, wood, acrylic paint, steel and aluminum nails, a visually direct language of profound emotion comes to being. Behaving in a space between sculpture and painting, each piece encourages the viewer to consider process beyond the norm.
